The ACD Program monitors the incidence of acute, contagious diseases in Baltimore.  The ACD program receives mandatory case reports of over sixty acute communicable diseases from all physicians, labs, and hospital infection control practitioners in Baltimore City.  ACD also works with Field Health Services to investigate outbreaks and appropriately treat infections.
